Film Festival

Bowlee Park entered our first Film competition. We entered into the Manchester Film Festival 2009. We decided to make a documentary about the official opening of Bowlee Park. During the official opening day, our film crew took lot's of footage of the day. Our editors then 'cut' our film into a 4 minute long documentary. Our newsreaders and scriptwriters added their expertise and the final film was ready for the competition! On 21st June we made a trip into Manchester to the Printworks to watch our film, along side other primary and secondary school entries on a large screen.

After all of the films had been screened, the judges had to make a decision about the winning entries..... WE WON BEST DOCUMENTARY!

Our prize was a special trophy for school and a digital video camera to help us with other film projects.
